Diversity Program

The ADP Supplier Diversity Program is designed to promote, increase and improve the participation of diverse businesses within our supply chain. We will strive to use local subcontractors for services separate and apart from the installation and subsequent maintenance of the City’s streetlights.

We aim to (1) provide equal access and opportunity to all suppliers, and (2) facilitate nondiscriminatory business relationships with diverse firms.

Companies can qualify as diverse suppliers/vendors if they fall into one of the following categories:

  • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
  • Women Business Enterprise (WBE)
  • Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE)
  • Service Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SDVBE)
  • Historically Underutilized Business Enterprise (HUBZone)
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
  • Small Disadvantaged Businesses

Those interested in doing business with ADP should be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Financially sound
  • Able to deliver a quality product or service
  • Capacity to serve existing and new business
  • Commitment to service and responsiveness
  • Current diverse supplier certification from appropriate council or government agency

ADP will work cooperatively with City’s Procurement Division to promote opportunities with this project.  As we subsume specialty subcontracts currently executed by the City, we will post opportunities on the ADP and partner websites.

In addition, we will host forums on a yearly basis describing our anticipated needs and potential contracting opportunities.

Our outreach process will also leverage the supplier lists of our partners.
